3 Easy Tips For Building Links

In this article I'm going to talk about link building, it's something that many people hate and many people think it is also some kind of magic art but the truth is, it isn't!

Link building is actually pretty easy to be honest, and sure it can get more complicated but if you are just starting out there are a few easy ways that you can pick up good quality back links! I've made a list here of 3 ways to easily build links:

Forums

Many people might frown upon these kind of links but forums do build back links and it's easy because you literally don't have to do anything, just interact like you normally do, or if you're already part of a forum that you spend a lot of time at simple add your link to the signature strip of your account therefore it'll show your link every time you make a post on a thread!

These links are easy to get and you can also have your anchor text as anything you want, you have complete control.

Blog Commenting

Blog commenting is another link building technique that can be frowned upon sometimes however it shouldn't be! Sure I know there's a lot of spam that goes around in the comment section of a blog, but you can easily get good back links without being a spammer!

If you simple comment on a blog which is relevant and you actually take a few minutes to read the blog post so that you've got something good (or bad) to say about it, then that is not spam!

Blog commenting is a good way to get a range of links which include no-follow and do-follow links so it makes your link structure look natural, however you can get a lot of good high page rank links because some bloggers and site owners don't bother with the no-follow attribute on comment links!

Build Relationships

You may think this sounds like a lot of hard work but it's actually not, all you have to do is interact with a few people and before you know it you could have a nice range of places where you'll easily be able to get a link from.

For example: Start following a few blogs you like and give the author/admin an email, let them know you really enjoyed the blog and if they were ever looking for an guest writers you would love to write a post (for free of course), this way you can get a nice branded back link coming back to your website and all you had to do was let the blogger know how much you enjoy their writing!

Another example: I was doing some work for a client (I won't give the name) and I was contacting various bloggers for potential guest posts, I said how much I had enjoyed one post that he had written inparticular and we got talking (over email) about the subject and how he had studied (the subject) at college, he then said that if I ever wanted a guest post then all I needed to do was ask!

The great thing is once you've established a relationship and hopefully provided them with a high quality guest post, chances are you'll be able to write another one!
