#1: There Has Never Been Such a Great Chance for New Jerseyans to Go Solar

Thanks to a new commitment to clean energy, electric consumers in New Jersey are contributing over $500 US dollars for incentives that will fund a movement to solar energy. There are long and short-term goals related to this plan. Not only did our state's governor decide that the state should increase by 2x its solar power output by 2013. Along with that, he made the requirement for the state to provide 20% of its energy with renewable sources over the 7 years after.

The US government is also giving tax breaks to homeowners that could amount to a 30 percent reduction on the cost of the installed system.

The result is that many New Jersey solar energy installations pay for themselves within just three years of installation. This is why 6,000 New Jersey homeowners have already switched to solar energy on their properties. They are receiving discounts of half the price on a $75,000 installation.
