Having a side line business is another way to earn some extra income
. There are many businesses that one can start that are not a heavy investment and to some, these side line businesses eventually become their main business as well. There are many instances when people from the corporate world shifted to their sideline business and the reasons vary but the foremost one is that it was something that they were more interested in. The other major reason is that it may be profitable in the long run for them.
Here are some side line businesses that may be worth taking a look at:
- Car Salon and car dent repair. Having a car salon which essentially is an auto detailing business and a car dent repair business is good. First and foremost, the auto detailing does not necessarily require office space. You can start by doing the detail on a home service basis to test the market. The same goes with the car dent repair business using the dent sucking machine. This machine is able to suck out the dent mark and consequently is an inexpensive option for those with dings and bumps in their automobile.
- Below the Line Advertising and Promotional firm. This simply means all the promos and projects not covered by the tri media of print, television and radio. Such samples of below the line advertising include coming up with parties, seminars, and other gimmick related activities that help promote a certain brand or product. Coming up with a firm that does this means being able to conceptualize and execute a given project. This could mean having your client sponsor a thematic party that appeals to the 18 to 25 demography. You do not need a lot of cash out for this company as you don't necessarily need office space. Furthermore, through your own talking and marketing, you may be able to get the project and hire people to do the job on a per project basis. This means no monthly overhead for you regarding salaries and wages.
- Custodial services. This may seem uninteresting to you but having a network of workers that help clean offices in the evening or after work is a good job to have. As a sideline, it should not conflict with your daily work schedule. The work done may also pay well. It is an option that you may want to consider.
