Self discipline

When you are at work, you have someone constantly keeping you on your task. Be it your boss or your colleague, it keeps you focused on the deadline and the task at hand. But working at home is the exact opposite. You are your own boss. So at times you may feel there is no rush to complete a project because there is still plenty of time. So learn self discipline. You must set deadlines for you to complete. Set specific timelines or periods at home when you should be attending to your work. Never let your home life interfere with your work just because you work at home now.

Persistence

You must learn to be persistent. Most of the time, people start a new business without actually reaching the end point. Once the going get tough, most of them usually throw in the towel and call it day. That is not you! There are a lot of things that you will need to know about your area of business. You can either read up, or you could always go for a home study course to furnish you with that knowledge.

Passion

You must be passionate about what you are doing. Like the saying goes, do the things that you love, and you will never get bored of it all your life. For you to succeed in your own business, you must thoroughly enjoy what you do. This passion and enthusiasm will be good for your business. It will be easier to sell your product when you are truly enjoying what you are doing!
