5 Quick Ab And Butt Workouts

Are you looking for a quick workout to work your abs and butt at the same time

1.Dead lift. In this exercise you stand with your legs shoulder width apart and bend over a bar bell. While looking forward and maintaining a straight back you squat down and pick up the bar bell to your waist. That is it.

2.Squats. In this exercise you will place a barbell on your shoulders and simply squat with the weight as if you are sitting down before coming back up and repeating the motion.

3.Romanian dead lift. Also, known as the straight leg dead lift. This is similar to the regular dead lift but you do not squat to pick up the weight. It is important to remember that your legs must be slightly bent.


4.Lunges. You can do this workout with or without holding dumbbells in your hands. Simply stand in place and step forward with one foot while you lower your other knee toward the ground. This workout can either be done in place or walking. Make sure to repeat and equal number of times for both legs.

5.Step ups. Simply find a box or bench or some other raised platform about 18 inches high. Holding dumbbells in your hands step up repeatedly leading with one leg and then with the other. Just as the lunges work the same muscles as the squats but from a different angle so do these.

The benefit of these exercises is that they work every aspect of, not only your butt and abs but your entire legs and even most of your body. While they may not seem like that are working your abs they are. This is because both your abs and your back serve as stabilizers for the rest of the muscles of your body when you are working out. So, even though you are not concentrating on them with crunches or sit ups you are working them and you are working them the way nature intended.

In no more than a half an hour you will have worked out all the muscle in your legs and but as well as the muscles of your torso, including your abs. They are simple exercises but do not let looks fool you. They will give you a killer workout and leave you winded.
