. Established in 1974 it caters for preparatory school, senior school and sixth form. New College in Worcester, Worcestershire is a co-educational school, boarding school, senior school and sixth form specialising in children with visual impairments who are able to follow the National Curriculum and take up to ten GCSE's, AS and up to four A Levels. The School also takes students on ASDAN programmes. The emphasis is placed on living skills, Braille, mobility and keyboarding with a view to achieving as much independent living as possible for each pupil. These living skills are practised in the sixth from hostel where students take care of laundry, cooking and leisure under supervision.
