7 Helpful Tips For A Summer Fit Body
It is that time of the year again. The time when we are not in a hurry to wake up early to go to school, time to slouch and wonder what to do next. Yes, indeed summer is already just around the corner, waiting to be enjoyed. But then this is also the time of the year when you will also notice that weight is increasing, what's with all the family picnics, grilling parties, and cookouts, and other things that may just encourage you to eat more? Yes, we will find it really hard to keep in shape this summer with this busy schedule.
But then this is also the best season to take advantage of the perfect weather and the ample variety of healthy foods around you so that you will also be encouraged to stay fit and slim this intense season. Consider the following helpful tips to stay slim or to slim up a bit more during this happy time of the year.
This warm weather can actually be the perfect opportunity to step outside and burn those excess calories off your body. Enjoy long walks at the park or the beach, play volleyball, tennis, or even Frisbee with your friends and family. Or why not swim and splash away on swimming pools and beaches. Anything just to get you move rather than slouch back at home. As much as you can, look for and grab every situation that will really make you active. Even look for the hard things to do.
Instead of staying until 10am in your bed, manage to get up earlier and always eat breakfast. Don't starve yourself thinking that you will get slim by doing it. In reality, food actually fuels our metabolism. There were studies that proved that when you skip breakfast, the most important meal of the day, chances are you will end up eating more and more calories within the day and will even force you to end up by choosing less healthy foods. If you starve yourself, you will eventually become irritable, tired, and you will lack the energy to even move a little.
Eat up fresh fruits and veggies instead of those sweet-based cupcakes, cookies, and even ice cream. Take advantage of the in-season fruits like honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon. These fruits are rich in water and will help you cut down your calorie intake because they will make you feel full already. So you wouldn't eat anything anymore.
Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water to quench your thirst this very hot season. Rather than having juices and alcohol, or even a little of it, have water. Water will also help keep your extremities stay healthy.
Try following the rule called 90% to 10%. This means that if you are watching what you eat 90% of your time, to relax in the 10% will not be a problem anymore. So it is not really a 100% on-guard all the time.
When things start getting a little rough and you suddenly feel that you can't make it any more, close your eyes for a while and start thinking of the healthier, firmer, slimmer and more energetic somebody that you want to become this summer. Think about the sexy clothes that you can wear, the swim suits that will envied by those can't wear them. Visualize yourself as the one wearing them. This is what you call motivation. This will also help you stay focus on your goal.
And finally, DO IT! Habits are formed; they should be done continuously so that they will stick into your system. If you will be able to these things this summer it will not be difficult for you to keep on doing them all throughout the year. Don't make excuses for yourself. Don't stress yourself into thinking that you will not be able to do it. You will not be able to do it only if you don't try to do it!
This summer will be a lot more exciting and fun once you have set yourself into achieving something that once before in your life you said you will not be able to do it.
