I would like to be a medical transcriptionist for many reasons
. One reason is my husband and I are both unemployed and we have six children. We live in a small city and jobs are scarce to say the least. We want to be able to support our family and give our children a better education and future. A second reason I would like to be a medical transcriptionist is because I have a head injury from a car accident I was in when I was 18 years old. I have a hard time learning. I have wanted to get an education and make something of my life, but it is extremely hard for me to learn by books. I learn easier by doing things or being shown how to do things. Needless to say you cannot get a job by explaining this to an employer.
I have wanted to try to do medical transcription at home for the last 3 years, but have not had the money to get started. This program could help give me the chance I need. This scholarship could give me the chance as an unemployed mother to have a job and help my family, but still be home with my 1 year old son. The flexible hours and being able to work from home are some advantages to me of being a medical transcriptionist. I need flexible hours because I have a medical condition called fibromyalgia which only allows me to sit for so long then I have to get up and stretch and move. I need to be able to work from home because I still have a 1 year old son at home. I also have five other children in school whom I help with homework and school projects. I would like to train with this program because I can have a chance at a scholarship. This would benefit me greatly since I am unemployed. I also liked the fact that there is a book to guide me and a phone number where I can call and talk to people about the program or get help. SN:0TG9Y2ESY
After I read about this program on line it helped me to make a decision. My goal right now is small due to my head injury and fibromyalgia, but I would like to get a scholarship and start the program. I would like to get through the program successfully and have a job. Any income would be helpful right now. I would love to be able to work from home so that I can still be with my family. My family is important to me as well as my children's education. I am grateful to any help I could get to start this program. I have felt like I was between a rock and a hard spot. I don't have the money to start the program, but I can't get a job without the program. This scholarship could be the chance that my family and I need to get on our feet.
