The Boston Patriots were first established on November 22, 1959. Billy Sullivan Jr. was an entrepreneur with a great promotional stunt. As the decade came to an end, the Patriots and the rest of the AFL became a part of the NFL. All AFL teams became AFC teams, and things formed the foundation for the modern-day NFL from there.

While the Patriots found some success in the 1960s, they jump around different stadiums and coaches a few times. Some future Hall of Famers honored the Patriots in 1960, and the city of Boston developed a special bond with many of them. They all wear discount nfl jerseys.
