A Mystery House In California

Every region on Earth must have had its own mysterious place where paranormal activities are often reported

. There are some groups of people having its own ghost videos or ghost photos taken from an old abandoned cemetery, house or etc. In America, there is a famous haunted house in California. This old house in California has sustained different phenomenon for a century already and is currently open for public tours. The house is indeed historical and was built during 1883 in San Jose California and named the house with Winchester after the death of Sarah Winchester in 1922.

Sarah originally lived in New Haven and was relocated in California after the death of her child Annie and her husband John. She was the heiress to the Winchester Rifle fortune and truly possessed the filthy life of rich people. Living in deep agony after the death of her loved ones, he went to a medium and asked for helpful information that might help her relieved. The medium told her that her family were cursed that made her husband and daughter demised. The medium pointed out that the people who have died in Winchester gun were the ghosts of the people who cursed their family. The medium told Sarah to reside to another place in the west to cut the curse and to avoid her from death. According to the medium, she has to build a house for the spirits before she live but there was a catch to this plan.

Sarah decided to stop working on the house instead of living but the medium insisted that she has to move away from the house to avoid her from death. After Sarah was convinced by the medium, Sarah immediately left New Haven and headed to California with the guidance of the ghosts. She bought a large parcel of land and commenced the construction of her of Victorian Home. While she has lived the rest of her life in the new house, she continued her sances to her husband and to other spirits. She also added a bell tower to his new home to summon the spirits at night and ring it again to dismiss them. According to some local residents residing nearby the house, Sarah has also built a sances room located at the middle of the house where she entered and conducted her communications to her husband, daughter, and spirits.

Sarah's mental stability was also doubted until today because her house has oddity in the designs. The doors were joined to windows, there are many staircases with 13 steps that often led to nowhere but to the ceiling, doors were directly facing to brick walls, double-layered skylights, double-back hallways, there are some doors that dropped off to the landscaping below, upside-down stair posts, and etc. However, it has been said that Sarah claimed that the oddity in designs were to confuse the bad spirits that had used the Winchester gun to kill. All in all, the house has 13 steps for every stair case, 13 staircases, 13 bathrooms with 13 windows, 13 drain holes in the kitchen sink, 13 panes of glass for every window, 13 cupolas in the green house, and the walls have 13 panes.

Today, there are many reports from tourists who have visited the house. According to some reports, there are banging doors, voices, dancing spots of light, cold spots, and actual sightings of fog-like apparition occurred inside for some instances.
