Is a penny saved really a penny earned? Today I'm going to tell you how turn pennies into dollars...

Henry Ford revolutionized the auto industry by simplifying the manufacturing process into an assembly line. Why was it so revolutionary? The cars were produced faster and cheaper which made them more affordable...so much so, that the average person was able to buy one. Ford was able to build something of value while lowering the cost so that more people could afford it...his market share in the auto industry skyrocketed!

Today's lesson is to stay on top of every activity, every penny spent, and always be on the lookout for ways to save. If you can do that, without compromising quality...well then you'll be at the top of the game, much like Mr. Ford!

Even if it's just a few pennies in savings, remember that at the end of the day pennies turn to dollars and dollars to hundreds of dollars in the home marketing world. Still not convinced...so let me remind you of Howard Hughes.

By redesigning the tin can his food came in, he was able to save two fifths of a cent. He was then able to split the difference with his customers, reducing the cost to them by 1/5 of a penny. A fraction of a penny in savings created a huge market share netting him more revenue.

Tying this into your home marketing business...think about the things that you do on a daily basis that consumes time and/or money. Cutting time consuming activities and costs could make a significant impact on the bottom line. Just think about what the computer did to save time and money...

Your homework now is to take a look at all of the processes in your home marketing business...get some poster paper, tape it to the wall, and map it out. Once you can visualize what you're doing everyday, you can begin to see where there is waste and begin implementing ways to save you time and money. You need to know your business better than anyone and have your finger on everything that is going on, ensuring max productivity/profit potential.
