I've recently begun getting a lot of inquiries about the new air phone. This new replica is probably the thinnest iClone on the market right now and it has a lot of sought after features that have made it a brisk seller. But, people often ask if it's a high performer or if it's as good as some of the other iClones. In the following article, I'll review the performance, features, pricing, and design of the air phone.
The Air Phone's Size Is What Most Attracts Buyers To It: Up until now, clones that included WiFi were heavier and more bulky in size. This was often one of the necessary costs of adding WiFi. The fact that the air phone has this feature and yet is only about 8mm wide makes it stand out. This phone is so thin that if you hold it up to a coin or credit card, it looks very skinny in comparison. This sleek design has been very well received and when most people comment about this phone to me, they almost always mention the size.
The Performance And Features Of The Air Phone Are Comparable To Many Of The Other Recent Clones: This is a user friendly and intuitive touch screen phone that functions like many of the popular iClones. This phone supports web browsing, emailing, messaging, and media and entertainment. (It also has an oversized 3.5 inch screen.) You can watch, play and record video, music, and photos. In addition, this phone often comes pre installed with Skype, Google maps, mobile QQ, and MSN. Since this phone also supports java and bluetooth, it's often very easy (and free) to install more software and games.
The air phone is a quad band it also has the shake and tilt feature. In addition, this model has additional menu pages and options than many of the clones. (Specifically, ten pages of icons are available.) You can touch and drag the icons to focus and highlight those that you use the most. This clone has a stainless steel back (which is very nice looking) and typically comes in black or silver. It feels solid and it's not at all sluggish like some of the earlier models. Most of the user feedback has been quite positive. I would say that the two things that are most commented about is the availability of Skype and WiFi, as well as the fact that the air phone is so thin.
A Few Differences: There are a couple of places where this phone differs from some of the others. This model is only single sim as opposed to being double sim like many of the iClones. Also, it lacks the removable battery. This is mostly due to the phone's slim size which doesn't make this possible. If you are dead set on either of these features, then you might want to have a look at the i9, which is also slim. Additionally, the i9 does have two slim slots and a removable battery. (The i9 typically doesn't have Skype and WiFi though.)
Pricing On The Air Phone: Although this phone is on the higher end of the price range because it's among the newest clones on the market, it still weighs in at around the $100 range. And, because it has WiFi, Skype, and works with any GSM sim card, these things will often save you quite a bit of money over the life of the phone. You should be able to significantly save on talk and data costs. You aren't required to have a contract and you can often make good use of pre paid or discounted sim cards.
Overall, this is a very nice phone and it's particularly attractive if you're looking for the thinnest clone out there or really want to make use of WiFi or Skype.
