If you enjoy this look at history then you might also enjoy taking in the presentation that is offered at the History Theater and if you are enthralled by the stories then you may want to check out the Creation Theater where the Tjapukai people recreate the dreamtime story by interacting with larger than life holograms. Throughout the day there are many different demonstrations that take place including the Didgeridoo Demonstration which show the unique interactions between the musicians and the creatures of this region and there are also demonstrations on how to use bush foods as medicine. You can also spend some time learning to throw spears and boomerangs if you dare.
The night time holds its own unique treats for visitors who choose a nighttime adventure at Tjapukai Park . As the sun goes down on the Tropical North Queensland come and join the Aboriginal people for a full course buffet style meal under the stars. Dinner includes a variety of drinks and hot and cold dishes as well as some delightful desserts made by their very own pastry chef. Nighttime includes some spectacular ceremonies like the Lakeside Ceremony where Tjapukai performers toss fire sticks around for a thrilling show and then there is a Live Cultural Performance with a campfire afterward where you can meet and speak with the performers from that show.
