If you had told me a few months back that I would be meeting my perfect guy over the Internet, I would have bet good money against you. Thank goodness I didn't because I would've lost now that Jason and I are together. Yes, we met through a website for dating for professional singles, and we've been going steady for two months now.

I've always had doubts about these online dating sites mainly because you never know if the information there is real. That's actually a problem the website faced years ago, but they've become stricter with their policies, and have ways to weed out fake profiles. I only tried it out because a good friend of mine had met her husband through the same website and she's nagged me to do the same thing ever since she got married.

The website was neatly laid out, and I could select the guys by profession and location. I was very specific about meeting guys only in the city because I didn't want to have to travel too far. I also selected doctors because I've had a thing for them ever since I was a teenager.

Jason not only met these requirements, he surpassed them. He was the first guy to email me after I had signed up, and was very nice and polite in his messages. I exchanged messages with other guys, but he was the sweetest one among them. Eventually, I agreed to his request for a dinner date. Although we'd sent each other messages over a few weeks, I was still nervous meeting him. Was he really like the way his letters portrayed him to be? Well, he was really was polite and charming, and a true gentleman. I couldn't believe my luck at meeting him. Jason said that he had trouble meeting women because of his hectic scheduler as an E.R. doctor. The succeeding dates proved his points as we only met twice in as many weeks. However, he was so nice that dates with him were some of the best nights I had.

We've been out a few more times and enjoy each other's company very much. We're still working out his scheduling problems, but I don't mind. I'm just so thankful for the website for dating professional men that I know we'll be together for a long time.
