Accountants To Learn About Changes At Companies House

Delegates at this months MGI UK and Ireland Partners and Managers Conference will

be able to learn more about the recent changes which have taken place surrounding the registration of new companies and the filing of annual financial statements.

Arthur West, customer insight manager at Companies House, will be giving a presentation on two main themes the electronic services now provided to business owners, and the changes which have recently taken place to coincide with the introduction of the new rules under the Companies Act 2006, which came into force on 1 October this year.

Most information required by Companies House can now be filed electronically using their online WebFiling system, or a suitably-enabled software package. The Companies Act introduced a number of changes, including new measures to protect directors addresses, measures to make it easier to set up new firms and the introduction of new forms.

MGI, an international association of independent accountants and consulting firms, will be hosting the annual conference for its UK and Ireland members from 26 to 28 November, under the title The Futures Bright The Futures Already Here.
