Health and fitness, a very important aspect of our life that many people tend to forget. In our day and age it is very easy to put out of your mind with those fast food at every corner, those beautiful car that replace our feet, the television that suck all our time. A lot of people do not want to do exercise because they are comfortable in their routine.

Most people think that doing exercise is hard, because when they hear that word they immediately link it to weight lifting and hours of torture just to lose those extra pounds. I, myself used to think like that. I would woke up one day, look in the corner of my basement, see that horrible bench and heavy weight full of dust and before I even start I was exhausted just because of the thought of spending hours lifting weight.

What I did realize is that in order to be healthy you need to do exercise period but it doesn't mean that you have to do some weight lifting. A lot of options are available for you to choose from, it's only a matter of preference. Dance, martial art, running, step bike, hockey, and basketball those are only a few alternate ideas from weight lifting.


The trick here is to find your passion, make a schedule and most important stick to it. The hardest part is actually following the schedule since being in a routine is usually way more simple and easy. The secret is to make a new habit for yourself. Research have shown that repeating an action everyday for at least 21 days will become an habit, a routine, in our case we just apply the 21 days rule toward our exercise plan like dancing everyday or practicing sport, martial art whatever make you groove, have fun and that you love repeating over and over again.

The key here is to find a passion of yours that make you move and repeat it every day until it become second nature in your daily routine and never more will you complaint about doing exercise since you will love it.

Healthy food is also very important. You should not, for example do exercise and go eat a meal full of fat. It just a waste of time for you and something bad for your body. Remember, exercise and good nutrition is the only solution to achieve great fitness and feel good about yourself.
