It's really amazing how many affiliates just grab the first affiliate program without knowing about its registration, simply because it has a high commission rate or promote each seller that is why you make promotions about it. If the program does not compliment the overall theme of your website, it will be difficult to convince your visitors and subscribers to buy the product.

2. Not using the signature file correctly...

Many members add a signature file to all their outgoing messages and email messages from the forum but did not use it correctly. Twenty lines of text full of affiliate links to lots of different products; this is not considered a good signature file! In fact, you can very easily be considered as spam. Try to keep your signature file under five lines with an attention grabbing or intriguing first line and do not overdo the links.

3. Not writing your own advertisement copy...

There is nothing worse than seeing the ad exactly the same all over the Internet or e-mail messages with ten different vendors. How much value you will perceive when the message arrives and the reader is reading it for the tenth time? You should take time to modify the ad to suit your target audience and subscribers before sending it. Personalize it to make the announcement clearer of its own so that it even looks like an announcement.

4. Not paying for your own domain name and hosting account...

Even novice Internet users can tell a free hosted site when they see it. It is very unprofessional and not good to suggest to visitors who have not made any money online and probably do not know what you're doing. If you have not taken even the small step towards building your business properly then how can the visitors trust you?
