Let's consider the advantages that an air conditioner can have and the disadvantages that it can cause if it is used in the wrong way. The most evident advantage of air-conditioners is their capacity to fight the effects of heat, which otherwise would be difficult to stand, diffusing a pleasant temperature in the room. However, air conditioners are not only useful to cool air, but also to freshen and warm it up. You can also choose the speed and the direction of the jet, check the humidity or air and purify it.

If you wish to have all these advantages, you can decide to install an air conditioner. To install it and mount all the elements the air conditioner is made of in a proper way, you need common tools, like screwdrivers and drills, but also specific instruments. Moreover, when you install an air conditioner, it is better to use antivibrant rubber tools, which are indispensable to soften the vibrations produced by the machine.

To use your air conditioner at best, before to install it you should calculate the heating requirements of the place you want to cool, above all if you are dealing with very large spaces. Once you have installed the air conditioner, you will have to consider the direction and intensity of the air jet. If the jet is directed towards people, indeed, or if it is too fast, the air conditioner will have more disadvantages than advantages. Some air-conditioners can even notice the presence of people in the room, directing the jet accordingly. Also the temperature should be adjusted in a precise way: the best temperature is 25-27C, and the jump between external and internal temperature should not exceed 5-6 C. Also humidity plays an important role (there are only few air conditioners that can reproduce the best humidity level, but you can use humidifiers), as well as the function of air changing, which lets you breathe purified air without having to open doors and windows. To avoid problems, you must check the filters. A scarce cleaning of filters can cause respiratory disorders, as well as undermine the efficiency of the machine.

These are all things you need to keep in mind if you want to understand the functioning of air conditioners and use them in the best way, enjoying only their advantages.
