Airport Security Is Not Invasive Enough

Airport security comes under weekly attack for being too invasive

. But it comes under attack from exactly the people who look for someone to blame when terrorists are successful in a plot to hijack a plane or smuggle a home-made bomb on board.

The recent outcry regarding airport security is over the top and typical of liberals on the left being far too blaz about their attitude to the clear and present danger that threaten us. The patriots among us will accept that some things are necessary to maintain freedom and prevent us from constantly being on the defensive. The enemy needs to know that we're not going to accept inhumane treatment. I'm happy with the current level of security on flights from Norfolk to San Juan, especially when the new air marshals being on almost every flight.

The air marshal system is perfect, someone who's armed on a plane and able to take out terrorists or high jackets. And the best thing is that highjackers and terrorists are never aware that air marshalls are onboard. But airport security stills needs to be increased further. No one knows if flights from Milwaukee to Orlando will ever be completely safe, but by developing airport security even further we are able to make a big difference in preventing terrorist attacks and protecting citizens on domestic flights from Seattle to Tulsa as well as on flight that head to other countries.

It's a shame that people are constantly preventing airport security from being as rigorous as it should be. It does freak my out that there are now scanners that allow airport security to see naked pictures of people, or give them an overly-invasive pat down. But sometimes, such things are necessary in order for people to be safe and protected and avoid the worst from happening.
