According to the Texas Alliance for Energy Producers, independents drilled 96% of wells in Texas, and produced 88% of the oil and gas in Texas. With members such as Alfaro Oil and Gas and many others, the Alliance has a combined membership of over 3,350 members, making it the largest state independent oil and gas association in the nation.
