Types of Solar Panels
There are 2 types of solar panel based on the type of manufacturing the solar cells.
Monocrystalline Solar Panel This solar panel use the monocrystalline solar cells, which are highly pure silicon passed through a complex process which generates 0.2 to 0.4 mm wafer discs wired in the panel. This is bit costly compared to polycrystalline solar panel but more efficient to convert energy into the electrical charge for solar power system for business.
Polycrystalline Solar Panel The solar cells are grown as a large crystal block and not as a single crystal as a result their appearance is different like shattered glass. This type of solar panel is cheaper but less efficient than monocrystalline solar panel.
Amorphous Solar Panel Can be made by depositing silicon on a metal or glass base. Thus there is no need to produce Silicon cells, which is a costly production procedure. Thus this solar panel is the cheapest one than other two. But at the same time low cost will not generate that much efficiency for energy conversion.
