If you are planning on travelling then you probably dream of going overseas to a

faraway place such as china or Europe and seeing all the sights and learning about the local culture. The only problem with this type of travel is that it is very expensive and very logistically complicated. The reality is that there are many places within the United States that are just as impressive and different that cost only a fraction of traveling internationally. This article is going to cover some of the best places to travel and what makes them so great.

First of all there is New York. If there is one place in the world that people know as truly American it is New York. Visiting this city is the equivalent of going to say London or some other European city that is world known. This city will be more expensive to visit than most other untied states cities but it will be well worth it as it is full of culture and charm. When you are there you must see some of the more famous landmarks such as the statue of liberty and the empire states building as well as the site of the world trade center.

The second place that should be on everyone's list is Yellowstone national park. This is one of the most famous places in the Americas because it remains one of the most wild and undisturbed places that you can visit. There are literally bears and bison that will come up to the window of your car to check things out as you drive by. It has an abundance of natural formations such as old faithful, which is a natural geyser that shoots off like clockwork every hour or so.

The third place that every American must go is to Hawaii. This is one of the best known vacation spots on the planet and is known by all the rich and famous the world over. What it is possibly most famous for is its beautiful beaches and amazing volcanic mountains. Getting there can be a little pricier than other locations but it is well worth the trip.

Other than that there is the Grand Canyon, Seattle Washington and any number of famous American cities which have a rich history and distinctive culture. There are literally hundreds of locations which can be visited without much money and will give you a great cultural experience.
