An Important Review Of The Lean Belly Prescription
An Important Review Of The Lean Belly Prescription
We all know that having large amounts of belly fat can be a problem. Not only can it give us those unsightly and awkward "muffin tops", it can add pressure to our bodies and contribute to things like diabetes, coronary issues and more. Now, though, there is a book called the Lean Belly Prescription that's promising to help you drop the muffin top and get healthy at the same time. This book has lots of reviews already and we wanted to find out if it was a lot better than anything else that people are already buying so we decided to take a look.
The book can be acquired through typical booksellers like Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.com. This is excellent because doing so can help the book gain legitimacy. It can also help make it easier to buy because you don't have to be worried about some affiliate giving a trumped up review to ensure they earn a commission on a product that doesn't help you. It helps that the book was made by Travis Stork. He is renowned from his time on "The Bachelor" reality program along with his frequent appearances on "The Doctors", a syndicated daytime program. He is, even so, more than a tv personality. He is a real doctor who works in an emergency room at a respectable hospital.
Dr. Stork uses the book to market his Pick 3 to Lean course. Pick 3 to Lean is a program that permits you to personalize your eating and lifestyle habits but doesn't pressure you to spend a bunch of time working out. The program claims to help you shed pounds without having to give up any of the things you love-food, free time, etc. The theory powering this plan is called the Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (or N.E.A.T) theory. This theory states that it is possible to burn off calories without having to work out.
From what we can see, the book makes lots and lots of promises but won't offer any new or important information. The real fact is that most of the information within this book could be found by doing a few basic Google searches and using your common sense. It will probably be very disappointing for those who were looking for a real reason behind the guidelines the book gives. The book doesn't delve into theory very much. The readers are just offered some outlines and strategies and told to follow along. If you're a person who wants to have a clear cut plan to follow but who doesn't want to have to worry about the particulars of the plan, this might be the book you are looking for.
Regular reasoning tells us that the proper way to lose pounds is exercise and good eating habits. This book defies that kind of reason so we don't actually know whether or not it is going to work as well as it promises to. However, in this day and age, with a doctor's blessing (your own physician, not the author of the book), nearly anything is worth at least a cursory glance!
