Anntaylor Loft Fall 2011 Style Guide

For the past few seasons, AnnTaylor LOFT has been making significant creative strides

to make trendy looks for both the young and stylish, and the mature and sophisticated. Its been quite noticeable that they are getting better at this every season. For their fall 2011 fashion collection, they incorporated popular style trends such as color blocking, neutrals, and rich, bright jewel tone colors. Many of the looks exude a classic lady vibe. Chiffon tops, leg lengthening trousers, and faux fur all gave salutations to the modern woman who loves classic looks but likes to spice things up with faux fur and animal prints. Its great how they matched a faux fur vest over a suit jacket and paired a gray leopard print jacket with chic trousers.

Bright colors like orange and deep red are really hot and theyre coming at you in all different forms. Red pumps, orange blouses, deep blues and greens as well as other jewel tones are prevalent. These are great if you are huge fans of being bold, but Ann Taylor has also designed some great neutrals. There are a lot of beiges, browns and blacks. Oh, and ladies, it has to be noted that blacks and browns can be combined. This is not a fashion faux pas.

AnnTaylor LOFT has always made great accessories, and this fall season they do not disappoint. Get your budgets ready because you'll find it hard to resist the super cute lace up ankle boots, tasseled chunky heeled loafers, and snake skin bags. To go with those classic looks, AnnTaylor LOFT offers some lovely statement necklaces, bracelets, and chunky cocktail rings. Youll be seeing art-deco as a major influence, A.K.A. bold with some shimmer. They also showed some more subtle items, like shoes and handbags that exuded preppy sophistication. We have to be honest. We didnt really see anything we didnt like. Overall, we thought the collection was very sophisticated and doused with enough on trend pieces to make you feel modern.

Before, some people only venture out to AnnTaylor LOFT to purchase gift cards for their mothers. A good number of them have always thought of AnnTaylor LOFT as a little boring and matronlykind of like your local librarian would wear. In the past couple of years, however, they have gone full circle and did a youthful makeover. AnnTaylor Loft is great for all ages and can be worn by the young, middle aged or old and still maintain its sophisticated look. They have awesome and affordable finds that wont make you look anything like your mom.
