Single moms who want to go back to college, can find it difficult; especially if you are a new mom with a small baby to take care of

. It's hard enough to find time for you with a newborn, but going back to school can seem nearly impossible.

With the advent of online courses; however, things have never been easier. Think about it. How would you like to finish your degree without ever having to leave your house? You can be there when baby wakes up, and study while your baby is sleeping. Easy, right? You can even have text books and school supplies delivered to your home, so you don't have to worry about that.

Now that you know your costs can be paid for with scholarships, what are you waiting for? Oh, yeah, you are a stay at home mom; you have kids you can't leave. No problem, you can still go to school. There are many popular ways stay at home moms are getting their education.

Almost every college has the option of taking classes online. All you need is internet access and a commitment to get your homework done. It does take discipline, but there is a little more flexibility to attend classes on your own time.

Take some time out each day to peruse the various scholarship sites out there. Make a goal to fill out at least one or two applications each day. Make sure you read through all the requirements and fill out the applications completely. Most importantly, you want to stand out from all the other applicants, so really sell yourself.

The best way to really sell yourself is in the part where you explain why you deserve the money. List your accomplishments and tell them what you plan to do with your degree once you get it. This will help you stand out for the others.
