Well, let us begin with simple quote, "teachers are apostles in our lives". Believing this is true, there have been several characteristics for excellent teachers, but the best are five.

Strong personality, knowledge and determination, patience and consistency, responsibility and self-confidence.

Strong personality is the first of these characteristics and may be all of them. It is necessary to have personal qualities and skills that includes may be all other qualities. For example, to have a strong personality, teachers have to have two types of knowledge, deal with psychological and social knowledge. Appraising a situation in schools, whither it was teaching, learning, or sharing other extracurricular activities with students is necessary skill for teachers. For instance, teaming need certain skills and abilities to bring students or team members together to achieve certain learning goals. Therefore, projects can be established for specific time. Goals can be set for any project. Setting a reward system encourage students to excel.

Patience and consistency also should be a quality for teachers, for example, when a teacher is angry, s/he is defeated before the student. Changing reward methods among students by favoritism cannot be hided. Students are enough smart to distinguish consistency for inconsistency. Therefore, to consistent and patient will enhance trust between the learners and their teachers.

Responsibility is the third quality for excellent teachers. This means preparation of lessons, using the best methods of delivery logically and precisely. Teachers also to show responsibility they should consistently check students' homework, assignments, or tasks given to them.

The final quality for excellent teachers is self-confidence. For example, to build self-confidence in students they teach, they should have self-confidence in themselves first. This quality enhance the relationships between teachers and students. An exercise may be practiced in this regard, for example, having knowledge and expertise in the subject needs alternatives and resources. Teachers may research topics of learning, give examples, and repetition of concepts used in the class, and checking level of achievement and understanding, and giving immediate rewards for those who deserve and encourage those who are disabled for any reason.
