An Array of Conveyors
There are numerous types of conveyor systems based on which the assembly line operates. The conveyors could be located on the floor which is known as the Floor Conveyorr and is used to move material at the floor level. There are some plants where the assembly line uses conveyors that are installed on the roof level which are controlled by conveyor belts. The Overhead Conveyor transports massive piece of semi manufactured products overhead which is within easy reach of the workmen to work comfortably. Conveyorized ovens are normally used where a product needs to be heated at a certain temperature. This is mostly used in paint shops in a factory where the finishing work is done after the spray paint job is completed. The tunnel type of conveyor ovens has dual heat sources. The oven has a conveyor for transporting material through the oven along a conveyor path. It is constructed below the surface of the ground. While conveyor systems operate on belts, the roller conveyor for an assembly line runs on metal rollers which increase the speed of the conveyor considerably. The combination conveyor is worthwhile equipment when the user is required to interact with conveyors at varied heights. The handling of the material is extremely smooth through the load handling attributes of the standard conveyor. The glass washing conveyor consists of a conveyor for moving a sheet of glass at a designated speed along with a rotating brush that cleans the sheet of glass as it passes by on the conveyor belt.
