Atlantic Toyota Pleased Toyota Named in 2010 Annual Car Reliability Survey

Atlantic Toyota is proud to report that despite a large number of recalls, Toyota is still earning recognition for vehicle reliability. Those at Atlantic Toyota are happy to announce the Yaris, FJ Cruiser Sienna V6 and Tundra V6 have all received top scores. Also earning great marks was the Lexus LX.

Those shopping at Atlantic Toyota for Toyota Yaris Long Island or any of the above-mentioned vehicles will want to know the survey was crafted from the responses of 1.3 million vehicle owners who were also subscribers to Consumer Reports magazine or website. The group was surveyed during the spring months of 2010, and the survey reviewers used the respondents' answers to forecast reliability of newer models, such as model year 2011.

Atlantic Toyota also would like customers to know the Scion brand was among the top four brands. This news is good for all Toyota owners as Toyota loyalty may have been a little rocky with the recent recalls, but Toyota is confident it will continue to move forward to gain back the trust of their customers.

Toyota Motor Corp. issued the following statement about the announcement on its website:

"We are pleased by the number of Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles identified as Recommended and Most Reliable in Consumer Reports' 2010 Annual Car Reliability Survey. We're also encouraged that Consumer Reports is reinstating recommendations on eight Toyota models and appreciate this recognition of the progress Toyota and its dealers have made in addressing recent recalls."

Atlantic Toyota couldn't agree more and looks forward to continuing its sales of some of the most reliable vehicles driven on the road today.
