Chile is a long belt in South America with rich culture and history

. Chile is the third largest country to export copper and fifth largest country to export wine; these exports have been giving large impact in making countrys economy boost. But just exporting different items is not all about Chiles; it has many more things to offer. Take an example of the tourist industry in Chile. Although not much supported by the governments, but still there are many beautiful tourists attractions to visit. It has beautiful national parks to exotic lakes and mighty mountains. It has got everything that a tourist wants. Below is a brief introduction of the major attractions for the tourists.

Rapi Nui National Park is believed by the archeologists to be inhibited by the natives more than a millennium ago. Lot of artifacts and fossils has been found there. It was recognized as National Park by the Chilean government in 1935 while UNESCO declared it a World Heritage in the World Heritage Sites on March 22, 1996. The park has got beautiful scenery to offer which makes it the perfect spot for tourists. There is another national park named Lauca National Park which is situated in the northern areas of Chile. It covers area of around 1,379 square kilometers. The famous Parinacota Volcano is also located in this park. It is open for all and sun dry round the clock, so you can pitch your camp or do some hiking on the mountains as well. It is visited by large number of people daily and it is maintained carefully to protect the natural habitat.

There is a famous place in Chile known as Tierra del Fuego which means Land of Fire. It is located at the southern tip of Chile. It is just across the Strait of Magellan. A famous Portuguese explorer, Ferdinand Magellan gave it the name when he first visited this place back in 1520. The place has got different species of plants and marine life which are hard to see in other parts of the country. Thousands of tourists visit this place every year, but still many of the places are yet to be explored.

If you live in country with warm weather then the best place to spend your holidays and vacations is the freezing place called Portillo. It is a resort near the city of Los Andes. It is 2,800 feet above sea level and its extremely cold out there. If you are adventurer, then this is the best place to enjoy your summer time. Valparasio or Paradise Valley lies in the heart of Chile. It is one of the most import seaports of the country. From tourists attraction aspect to the geopolitical aspect, it is a very important port. It is major stop over for ships coming through the Strait of Magellan. Though, its a busy place, but for those tourists who want to enjoy the rich culture of Chile, its the best place to visit.
