Be Nice To Yourself On The HCG Hormone Diet
What are a few of the motivational techniques that you have seen people promote? You've most likely seen the weight loss diary. You've obviously seen goal setting. You've most likely seen the "reward system." But what about just being nice? There's no reason not to be nice to yourself while you're on the HCG hormone diet.
Sometimes "just being nice" it out of reach. We are just not capable. We're stuck. We're in a run and the only thing we can make ourselves aware of is that we know that there are things we want to change or do better or do differently. While we're focusing on all these things that we are trying to do we forget that we've already done something right. You may already be on the HCG hormone diet. That's something right. It's a great step. It provides drastic weight loss more often than any other diet on the market. When drastic weight loss is the goal the HCG hormone diet is the most effective diet by which you can achieve this goal.
In the mean time...don't be too hard on yourself. It's terrific to have goals. It's terrific to have big goals. There's an old saying about aiming for the moon and you'll land amongst the stars. That is totally true. If you expect yourself to succeed and remember not to lump your efforts/your hard work into one big ball of failure if things don't end up exactly as planned you will have a much higher chance for eventual success.
Change is inevitable when it comes to plans. Plans almost never start and finish without experiencing some sort of spontaneous adjustment or change. If plans always went "according to plan" there would be no reason for the saying "according to plan" would there? Getting "off plan" can mean a tiny mistake. Or it can mean a huge mistake. We're human and that's one of the things that we do. We make mistakes.
So when you are in the spot where you realize you've just deviated from the plan; you've made a mistake. Give yourself just a moment to recognize it and then remind yourself of your goals and that you're on the right track. You just need to turn away from the mistake and focus on your goal again. You've got your destination. And you've got your plan; get back on it. You'll have fabulous days and you'll have rough days. That's just the nature of the beast.
And when one of those rough days arrives (or when two or three of them arrive to attack you in force) remind yourself that tomorrow is a new day and tell yourself that it's going to be a fabulous one. Even then...sometimes the fabulous day that you have planned will somehow morph into another rough day. And that's a bummer. But at least you aimed for the right spot. And if you know where you're headed and take aim then the chances that you will actually get there is much higher than if you don't aim at all.
Identify problem items that pull you away from your goal of succeeding on the HCG hormone diet. It might be specific foods. It might be specific places. It might be specific people. It's hard to say until you actually notice what led you to a mistake on the diet. Problem items are those things that lead you away from your weight loss goals. It's only a few weeks. Identify them and stay away from them while you're focusing on the HCG hormone diet.
Take note that encouragement (by definition) is positive. If you notice that your form of "encouraging" yourself is actually to repeat negative comments and opinions to yourself over and over you need to redefine your method as "discouragement" because that would be a more appropriate definition. If you need a mantra...make it positive. For instance, tell yourself over and over how much weight you've already lost and how much you are about to lose.
