It comprises four beaches namely; the Samudra beach, the Ashoka beach, the Eve's beach and the Lighthouse beach. The beaches located to the south of the promontory are crowded when compared to the ones to the north, which provide the perfect setting for sunbathing, swimming, catamaran trips, and water sports.

Since then, this beach came to be related with ancestor worship, as lots of Hindus immerse the ashes of their dead here.
