It is not as easy as just saying that you will become more efficient and lean business processes or your manufacturing processes

What is slowing down production, what kinds of waste is there that is making everything more difficult. Maybe things are set up in a way that product has to be moved around much more than it should have to be and is being picked up and moved too much.
This may be the result of growth and how things progressed in the heat of an extremely bust time and just kind of stayed that way. Knowing that it needs to be fixed is the first step and identifying the areas that need to be fixed and what is most likely to pay dividends is vital to the continuation of the process. What worked fine ten years ago might need to be updated in order to keep up with today's needs and the growth and demands that have blossomed since then.
What you need to fix those problems and face those challenges might not be evident or very clear at first. Who works in the department and who is affected by the changes or hold ups from that department? These are good places to start when looking for ideas and way to fix the slow downs and problems.
The people who work around these problems every day will be the best people to identify exactly what is broken and may also have some ideas on how to solve the problem, if required. Team members who are more churches involved, the more chances you have of finding a workable solution.
