You may feel like you're not doing that great at work so you have to throw a business party so you can impress your boss
. You may figure that if you have one, then he will recognize you more and maybe you will get a chance to talk to him about work stuff. Maybe that might not be a good idea to bring up but you may feel like you have to.
You may feel a lot better once you have the party so that way your boss will come up to you to tell you what a good job you're doing. He may come up to you on his own, but he may not. If he does not, then you have to be the bigger person and talk to him about what has been going on at work. You should be thinking about when the right time to do this would be.
It makes more sense to talk to him about every thing that has been going on in your mind when he's alone. It is no one else's business except for you and your boss. No one should have the right to be listening in and jumping to your conversation because you would not do that to a person who would do that; you would have more respect than they do.
This may not be the right time or the right place to talk to him but you had to get him over here otherwise how else were you going to talk to him. You are not able to talk to him at work because he is so busy running around and trying to help everyone out. You might be afraid that he would snap at you and tell you to go back to work if you tried talking to him about something important.
Maybe your problem at work could be that you're not doing very well and you need some help and some advice on how to get better. Thats what any good employee would have the guts to do. The only problem is for you is that you're having trouble finding the right time to talk to him because you do not want to get your head bitten off.
It may not be fair to your boss for you to discuss something like this at the party you're throwing, but this could be the only way you could get his attention and where he is not surrounded by your co-workers.
The only thing is you have to have the courage to go talk to him about your problems at work now that he is alone. You may even be worried for nothing because he may give you some pointers right then and there. He might give you something that would help you out as well, and he also might tell you that if he's busy then you can as one of your co-workers that's doing a outstanding job.
It may make you feel better once you talk to your boss at the business party you're having for everyone in the office. He may have said things to you that have really helped you out. Plus you may feel like you have done the right thing by talking to him and getting it over with.
