You never want to put yourself in a situation where you are around large groups of people fighting over bottled water and cans of tuna fish.

There are countless ways to prepare for a disaster in order to ensure you and your family are capable of surviving until help can arrive, but having a go bag is the first step in preparing for such a disaster. Even if you believe such a disaster is unlikely to strike, having a survival bag on hand will provide you with peace of mind.
