Several years ago back in 2006 I was in business to business direct sales, on straight commission selling employee benefits packages to companies.
My job was basically to wake up every day and physically prospect for new business door to door, then to drive to and from appointments for the HR managers and employers, then drive back for the actual staff presentation, and make several other trips for the rest of the enrollment process.
As you can imagine my need to get around was essential to my livelihood.
Well all that was stripped away from me one day when I was on my way outside to go to an appointment when I realized that my car had been stolen

Luckily my auto insurance company was able to provide me with a rental to get around in the meantime.
As I am on my way to a client meeting in my newly rented car, a giant truck cuts me off on the highway, spilling metal debris out of the back trailer.
