Anyone reading this who is a smoker or knows a smoker can identify with just how bad this horrible addiction and habit can be. It can control your life. You choose your friends around smoking, your lifestyle is affected by smoking, and even your relationships can be decided by whether or not you're a smoker. We all know it's a bad habit, and if you're looking for the best way to quit smoking then you should keep reading because I found a way that worked for me and I haven't smoked for 2 solid years. Not even one cigarette.
What I found is that I was always anxious in my life when I was smoking. I felt as though I never had complete control, and I also hated the fact that I was dependent on something so much all the time. I noticed the anxiety continued to increase as I became more and more addicted in the beginning. Then it got to a point where I just always had to have a cigarette no matter what I was doing, and I would associate pretty much everything I did with smoking, which made things so much worse. Talking on the phone, driving in my car, being out in a bar, etc. These were all things that subconsciously and consciously made me think about cigarettes, and this just made the problem worse.
It wasn't until my friends started really complaining about my smoking that I began to assess what was really going on. I was hiding it from my family, and when I met somebody knew, whether it was a friend or girlfriend, I began to notice them judging me right away. My breath was always bad, my clothes always reeked of smoke, and my physical activity was so limited by the damage the cigarettes were doing to my body. This is when I really needed a solution, but not just any solutionI needed something that worked and would give me the freedom from smoking that I had dreamed for ever since I started.
That's when I was fortunate enough to stumble across this solution which was a combination of things. Hypnosis, exercise, drinking lots of water, making a plan, and reducing the stress and anxiety in your life as much as possible. The stress and anxiety can cause you to want to keep smoking, so it's amazing what you can do by eliminating those components.
