Big house Big dreams

I have been living in a tiny flat for a very long time and now the time has come for me to move into a bigger place, so after months of searching I finally found a beautiful 3 bedroom house. It's very close to my old flat, my parent's house and a few minutes away from the town centre.

The process of selling my flat got done very quickly, but my house is taking long so now I have to move all my belongings to a secure self storage until the paperwork is complete on my new house. What makes its worse is that we have to stay a hotel until we can move in, which means we will have less money when it comes to decorating the house.

Our friends and family offered for us to stay with them but we won't be comfortable at all so we refused without hurting their feelings. Everyone have been helping us with all the packing and moving which has been brilliant as we both are working full-time and we don't get to do anything till the weekend.

I'm really looking forward to decorating the new house the way I want it, as we didn't do anything to the flat when we moved in. I already started planning the colour scheme for every room; I also started my search for wallpapers, tiles, laminate and carpet.

Once I finalise the colour scheme, I will start searching for the furniture as I don't intend to take any of the old ones with me.
