The total area in which this castle is spread is 484,000 square feet which is nowhere near to any other house in the world and moreover this castle has been occupied for maximum number of years since the 15th century.

This castle was first built in 1066 and has been part of many historic emperors and kings. The castle has been renovated time and again to make it look modern. Architect Jeffry Wyatville renovated the castle way back in 1824 and gave it a modern look by connecting different buildings.

The Palace of Faith Light the house of Sultan of Brunei is also one of the largest houses in the world. Located in the southern part of their capital Bandar Segi Begawan the house has 5 swimming pools in it and has a total area of 2,152,782 square feet. Built in 1984 the house was approximately priced at 1.4 billion US dollars. Another house that is still under construction is the Indian tycoon Mukesh Ambani's Antilla which is estimated to be one of the most expensive houses of the world costing just over 2 billion dollars.

Besides these the Biltmore House in the US is also pretty big and figures in the list of top 10 biggest houses of the world with a covered area of about 4 acres and 250 rooms in total. Many new Australian constructors prefer really big houses and in the coming years we might see an Australian house figure in the list of top 10 biggest houses of the world.

These houses are equipped with almost each and every facility one can think of and form a dream place to live in. With excellent art and architecture on the walls of the houses along with a swimming pool and gym etc. these houses are really complete in every sense.
