Binq To Supply Equipment For Cement Production Line In Russia
Shanghai BinQ cement and minerals system supplier FLSmidth has received a contract
worth approximately EUR 30m from Russian Open Joint Stock Company Sebryakov Cement for the supply of equipment for their new cement production line. The plant is located in Mihkailovka city, approximately 180 km North of Volgograd.
The order is based on an ongoing collaboration between Sebryakov Cement and Shanghai BinQ which goes back to 2005 when the contract for a new, and until now the biggest cement mill in Russia, was signed.
Cement Mill (or finish mill in North American ) is the equipment used to grind the hard, nodular clinker from the cement kiln into the fine grey powder that is cement. Most cement is currently ground in ball mills.
Cement mill and raw material mill are essential machines for cement production line. They are also known as ball mills, are a kind of material grinding mill that can grind cement, glass ceramics, new building material, fertilizer, refractory material, ferrous metal, nonferrous metal and silicate, etc. Theyre suitable for dry and wet grinding of all kinds of ores and other materials that can be ground. To use the Ball Mill, the material to be ground is loaded into the Neoprene barrel that contains grinding media. As the barrel rotates, the material is crushed between the individual pieces of grinding media that mix and crush the product into fine powder over a period of several hours. Obviously, the longer the Ball Mill runs, the smaller the powder will be. Ultimate particle size depends entirely on how hard the ground material is, and how long the Ball Mill runs. Structure of cement mill:
Cement Mill is composed of feeding part, discharging part, turning part and driving part (reducer, small driving gear, electric motor and electric control). The quill shaft adopts cast steel part and the liner is detachable. The turning gearwheel adopts casting hobbing process and the drum is equipped with wear-resistant liner, which has good wear-resistance. The cement mill machine is with stable and reliable working condition.
Traditional cement mill also named as cement ball mill
, raw material mill, material grinding mill and clinker mill, is the key equipment for grinding after the cement crush process, which is widely used in the manufacture industries, such as cement, silicate, new building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ferrous metal, nonferrous metal and glass ceramics, etc. Cement ball mill can be used for the dry and wet grinding for all kinds of ores and other grind-able materials.
According to different materials and discharging methods, there are dry

and wet cement ball mills for choice. Cement vertical mill is the main and new process equipment in the cement grinding plant. LM series cement vertical mill is of strongl crushing, high crushing efficiency and good operational stability. To some extent, reducing the power consumption or increasing the system output has solved concerns of low production of cement, running instability, etc.
By replacing cement ball mill with cement vertical mill, we can realize the role of reducing energy consumption. Relatively speaking, using cement vertical mill to grind cement raw material, coal and blast furnace slag has been fine for the mature technology. As long as we control the cement particle size distribution, water demand, the types of ingredients in the gypsum and grinding temperature and so on, to achieve large-scale promotion of thecement vertical mill use is very promising.
The new production line will substitute the existing wet line, reducing energy consumption significantly and increasing production with 1 million tons of clinker per year.The order will contribute beneficially to BinQ earnings until start-up of the plant in the first quarter of 2013.
