Both bluetooth headphones and wireless headphones (more commonly referred to as RF, or radio frequency, headphones) essentially use the same method for transmitting and receiving data across connected devices. Both types use radio signals. The base unit can even be mounted on a wall, if you prefer. The packaging doesn't come with mounting material, though.
