Boca Raton used car drivers can now connect with their cars via mobile apps
Yeah, I guess there's an app for that too
Yeah, I guess there's an app for that too. Any brand who knows how to market itself has an app that consumers can download to keep them informed, connected and, well frankly, inundated with free advertising.
Of course, most apps offer something the customer wants as well; otherwise they would never download it in the first place. Mopar has created a suite of free apps for smartphones that encompass anything and everything from vehicles owner information to aftermarket customization product catalogs for Mopar.
Boca Raton used car owners will now have an easy connection to anything they might want to add or update on their vehicle. "We are taking owner information and customer care to a new level . . . creating a channel of communication with customers about brands, vehicles and customer care," Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar, stated in a webcast.
The apps contain connections to other owners, product-feature video demonstrations and allow access to customer care and, most importantly, 24-hour roadside assistance. There's a lot of other fun stuff too that Boca Raton used car dealerships encourage customers to check out.
The app suite is launching from Michigan-based Tweddle Group and will be offered in conjunction with the new Jeep Grand Cherokee and is now available on iStore for iPhone. It will be adapted for BlackBerry and Android on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint soon. Chrysler plans to extend the apps to other Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat and Ram Truck models by the end of the year.
Although the apps are extensive, they are not comprehensive, and are meant to be used with the hard copy of the user guide and instructional DVDs. Information covers maintenance schedules, service contract, warranty information, warning-light meanings and customer assistance. There is also an on-demand channel for two-way communication on vehicles, brands and customer service as well as the Mopar accessories and product gear. Oh, and don't forget what most of us will use it for the social media sites. If you are shopping for a Boca Raton used car you will want to have access to this app!
On the main screen users will find 10 functions, like "vehicles highlights" and "customer assistance" There are sections for model specific accessories and to connect to vehicle brand communities on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and the brand's blog site. Chrysler and Mopar hope the app will increase visits to the dealership. Since customers will be able to familiarize themselves with vehicles through their smartphone, they will then want to get to a dealership and experience that vehicle firsthand. That's what your Boca Raton used car dealership is counting on and they are looking forward to an influx of curious customers.
