The second thing that you should do is to remove pads from the headphones. Whether you have the ear buds or the headphones which actually go over your head, you will find that there will be some sort of the protective pad over the audio portion of your headphones.

The third thing that you need to do is to hold a can of the disinfectant for about 6 inches away and then you can spray the pads if they are made of the softer fabric. For sterilizing the plastic pads of the headphones, you can spray a small cotton ball with disinfectant spray. The cotton ball must be wet but it is not soaked. After that, you need to thoroughly wipe off the pads, inside and out. Regardless of the pads that you own, you should immediately dry them off. You can use towel of place them in front of the fan.

Lastly, you need to spray the cotton ball with disinfectant spray and then wipe off the uncovered earpiece of your headphones. After that, you should wipe off both ear pieces gently with the cotton ball, and then wipe them off immediately with a clean towel.
