Bruce Springsteen Tickets - The Boss Shows No Signs Of Slowing Down

Bruce Springsteen tickets are a hot item for several reasons

. Springsteen's influence is practically incalculable - he has recorded dozens of classic tracks and several genre-defining albums since the 1970s. He constantly reinvents his music while staying true to the folk-influenced rock and roll that made him a household name. Most importantly, his live shows are the stuff of legend. At the age of 62, Springsteen shows no signs of slowing down in the studio or on the road.

Fans know Springsteen's reputation as rock and roll's most humble front man. When he isn't touring, he spends most of his time with his family in New Jersey. He moved his family to the Garden State from California to give his children a chance to grow up without intrusive press attention. Bruce often remarks that he's the Boss on the road, but his wife, Patti Scialfa, is the boss at home. By all accounts, Springsteen is a family man who dislikes attention from paparazzi, although he's never too busy to chat with a fan.

On the road, however, Springsteen is more of an extrovert. With the E Street Band, he unleashes some of the longest and most energetic shows of any current touring act. Bruce's performances regularly pass the two hour mark with plenty of jams and deep cuts spanning the band's incredible history. Although the entire E Street Band contributes to the energetic atmosphere of their live shows, Springsteen takes center stage, running, spinning his guitar and interacting with his sold-out crowds.

Bruce's wife Scialfa is an important part of the E Street Band and contributes backing vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion. Other current members include longtime lead guitarists Nils Lofgren and Steven Van Zandt, bassist Garry Tallent and pianist Roy Bittan. On tour, various horn players and singers accompany the band to recreate the huge feel of Springsteen's studio albums.

In 2012, Bruce and the E Street Band will tour to support their new album, Wrecking Ball. Whereas most artists would contentedly write thematically softer songs as they age, Springsteen instead wrote lyrics for Wrecking Ball that confronted the harsh realities of the United States' economic and political climates. Songs like "We Take Care of Our Own" show Springsteen at his angriest as he addresses the disparities that separate the working middle class from the upper class.

The album is also musically experimental. Springsteen experimented with digital loops, samples and even rapping to give Wrecking Ball a more current sound. It is still a rock and roll record at its core, however, and Springsteen's trademark wall of guitars carry songs like "Easy Money." Critics have called Wrecking Ball one of the best Springsteen albums of the past decade.

Springsteen will tour major venues across the United States throughout 2012 to support Wrecking Ball. As with his previous tours, he will not focus exclusively on material from the new album. Springsteen's set lists are eclectic and packed with hits like "Thunder Road," "Atlantic City" and "Jersey Girl." He also throws in the occasional cover song from artists like Pete Seeger.
