This task chair is the result of the companys desire to produce a high quality product with an eye-catching design but with fewer materials, less parts and a smaller carbon footprint than standard office chairs.

For instance, the steel used is around 35% recycled and the aluminium around 95%. Also, about 45% of the chairs parts are manufactured within 10 miles of the Orangebox factory and 90% from within mainland Europe!

The key to this chairs success is its sleek design and pure simplicity. Unlike most ergonomic office chairs, the array of levers and knobs have been mostly dispensed with and the chair has been conceived primarily with the user in mind.

The flexible lumbar pad provides 100mm adjustment and comes as standard. The chair comes in a wide range of vibrant colours to suit individual personalities, dcor and other office furniture. A number of other styling and functionality options are also available including different bases, castors and multi-adjustable arms.

One of its most impressive features is the unique weight balancing mechanism. This makes it ideal for environments where seating is shared because it will accommodate and automatically adapt to most body shapes and sizes.

Additionally, because of its minimalism in terms of components, it is lighter and yet stronger than many other mesh back chairs. The Do can be assembled by just one person and an allen key in around 2 minutes.
