Build A Greenhouse Cheap - Real Cheap!

Everyone wants to save money. So if you want a new greenhouse, why buy one when you can build one? As long as you get the right plans you can build a greenhouse cheap and save yourself a lot of cash!

Assuming that you've got some basic DIY skills, there is absolutely no reason at all why you shouldn't build your own greenhouse. All it really consists of is wood and glass! Nothing fancy there, which raises the question why are greenhouses so darn expensive to buy?

The truth is most people are lazy or just don't have the time to build their own greenhouse. The reality is though, if you've got a couple of days spare, you can build a greenhouse cheap, real cheap!

You're gonna need some plans. There's no point trying to cut out this stage. You'll have to spend some money here, but not much. I don't recommend trying to find free plans either as nothing that is given away free is usually any good.

Provided that you've already got yourself some good plans, they should have a list of materials that are required. This is essential if you plan on saving any money.

The next part is especially important to maximise the amount of money you will save.

Take your plans and materials list down to your local DIY store, or wherever you plan on buying your wood and glass, and let them price up all the materials. This will make sure that you don't waste any money on surplus materials that will be wasted.

Once, you've got everything back home, you can start construction of the greenhouse. It really should take you no more than a couple of days to complete providing that you are working from a good set of plans. I can't stress how important plans are to any DIY project.
