. My father used to build me garden play houses, trains, and forts. He was a skilled licensed contractor with a lot of spare wood around. He was not going to pay for play house when he could create and build his own. If you had a dad like me you know what I mean.

He can have a desk where he might write his first short story. Today play houses come with roofs that do not leak. They have safety glass windows to keep out the bugs. For your kids there is a kid door in front and an adult door on the side for you to visit.
There are a variety of styles to choose from. You can have a Victorian style house or one that looks like it belongs on the shores of Cape Cod. Or you can customize your garden play house to even look like your actual house.
Pride of ownership is what you have in your home right? Well, believe it or not a play house provides your child with pride of ownership. You are actually him or her build responsibility. He or she now has his own home to take care of.
I was proud to invite my friends over to my play house. I was like my own home after all. What difference is there when you invite people to your home. Children are learning pride of ownership with their play houses. It is no different than what you feel with your home.
You give your children a chance to prepare for their future. A time when they will have a home like the one their parents own and it helps them prepare and plan for that time. Compared to killing and destroying things on their video computer garden play houses are a sound investment.
