When examining a juicer in a high street shop, for example, although the blurb from the manufacturer may claim that it is the quietest, most efficient juicer your money can buy, without actually trying it you won't know for sure, and by the time you try it out and discover the truth for yourself, it's too late to take it back.

There are hundreds of frank and honest reviews online from real customers, meaning you what you read isn't a sales pitch, and so you can obtain a much more honest and accurate idea of the product before you buy.

Paying online is safe and secure, providing you use a sight which has a guaranteed secure online payment method, or you look for a payment method symbol such as one from PayPal or Google Checkout.

Household products will generally be cheaper online, but you'll need to shop around as prices can vary. There are many comparison websites that will do this for you, but remember that they don't always include some smaller websites which may also offer excellent prices.

Online retailers can undercut high street prices because they don't have the same kind of financial outlay and overheads needed for a retail premises, such as rent, staff wages and insurance, which is excellent news for consumers, especially in today's financial climate.
