Chartered Accountancy or CA is a profession-oriented course

. A lot of practical knowledge is required. Training is the important part of CA Examinations. By this logic, all Professional Competence Examination and the Final should have practical oriented questions. It is not adequate for a CA to know only how to do his/her work, but they should possess the expertise of his field. They should be absolute masters in their field in order to service and gain acceptance in the industry.

A CA ,it must be noted, is not only the one who deals with only your income tax or other such tax related issues. He/she is quite a knowledgeable person, that is, he/she knows quite a lot more and can be approached not only for tax related queries but also for questions related to, audit, law etc. He is a great financial and management advisor.

Once the schooling is over and the mind is set that one wants to opt for Chartered Accountancy field then there is an examination for CA aspirants who want to go for it straight after class 12th. The test is known as CPT, that is, Common Proficiency Test. This test is an entry level test. The CPT Question Papers generally have multiple choice questions. In order to increase the questionnaire in subjects like Accounting/Mercantile Law/General Economics/Quantitative Aptitude of Common Proficiency Test, it has been decided to invite questions from Chartered Accountants/Subject experts working in various Colleges/Universities/Public/Students pursuing Chartered Accountancy Course, etc.

The format of the CA questions papers is as follows --

It has objective questions with 4 answer choices.

The fill in the blanks also have 4 alternate options.

Numerical also have four alternative answers (in Fundamentals of Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics. There is a small paragraph and there after question follows the same.

There are even case studies and simple words are used which contains multiple concepts. These case studies are like a live situation is given and the aspirant has to answer it by telling how would he/she deal or tackle with that situation. For the same purpose there are 4 alternate answers are given as well to check or test analytical and logical ability and the Intelligence.

The different subjects on which the student's capabilities and intelligence is checked are ADVANCED ACCOUNTING; MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, ENGLISH; ADVANCEDAUDITING; CORPORATE LAWS AND SECRETARIAL PRACTICE; COST MANAGEMENT; MANAGEMENT INFORMATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM; DIRECT TAXES and INDIRECT TAXES.

The ICAI CPT CA Sample Paper are easily available online. Sites like latestt.com provide a full set of question papers which can be used for practice purpose. Question papers of all the subjects are available. These CA Question Papers make the CPT exam very easy to attempt. A good preparation plus practice sessions on these online question papers would certainly help you out in solving the real CPT question paper.
