Their innovative new web-based service is set to open up the global market in professional services across a wide range of professional services including call centres. It is particularly suited to small and medium sized enterprises, as well as individuals, who want to outsource or offshore aspects of their business.

Loren Holland said: "Outsourcing and offshoring has grown rapidly in the last decade. Large companies have been quick to see the benefits of contracting out work to third party specialists whether its call center support, IT and web services, or other back office functions. There are clearly cost advantages, but outsourcing also offers opportunities to tap into international skills in places like India and Eastern Europe."

"Until now outsourcing these services has largely been the preserve of larger companies, with few opportunities for start ups or SMEs to outsource their work or projects. OutsourceMyProject will change that."

Businesses which have a project they wish to outsource can visit the new website and upload details of the contract and invite bids free of charge. Potential suppliers each have their own unique online profile, including details of ratings and feedback for past projects, to help customers decide who to award the contract to. Payment is not made until a project is completed.

The site also includes web-based tools to ensure contracts run smoothly. These include a payment platform, project management facility and messaging system to facilitate open, clear and safe communication between customers and suppliers.

Sumit Agrawal said: "Since the site's launch we've seen a huge growth in interest with more than 1,000 registered professional service providers now signed up and ready to bid for work. With the global offshore outsourcing market currently worth $60 billion and set to grow at a rate of 20% a year over the next five years we only expect this interest to increase.

"Whether businesses or individuals are looking to outsource work within the UK or to low cost economies abroad, OutsourceMyProject will be the place they turn to."

OutsourceMyProject is a member of the National Outsourcing Association (NOA), the UK's outsourcing center of excellence.
