Can Housewives Be Considered As Having A Real Profession

The discussion of various professions, their pluses and minuses is rarely related

to being a housewife, which may be truly offensive for a great number of women devoting their life to preservation of home and comfort. The reason for such exclusion is that they stay at home and receive no money for their services; in addition, they provide their services to their family, which is always unusual for a profession. However, the significance of this hard labor has been recently recognized, and the present article aims at discovering some aspects of being a housewife that implies that it is a real profession for the chosen.

How Can One Become a Good Housewife?

1. The first argument for housewives is that it is a rare profession nowadays modern women are more independent and they do not want to stay at home, preferring to hire nannies and cleaners to take care about kids and home to go to work soon after giving birth to a child. However, there are some women who stay at home for various reasons they may either feel bad after the childs birth, or feel that their place is at home, or see that the family has no money to hire a babysitter.

2. Being a housewife is very boring, which also makes a plus for the housewives endurance at the workplace. Cooking food, washing the dishes, cleaning the house, taking care about kids, husband and dogs how can one do the same work from day to day, from year to year? The main factor is acceptance of that work, which brings a change to the womans self-perception.

3. It is essential to provide support for the housewife, let her leave some space for herself, let her go in for sports and communicate with friends, as it is very important for her to live an equally social life.
